    I was 7 years old in 1977 and that movie had a huge impact on my imagination and play time after seeing it. I didn't immediately notice the addition/change of the movie title later (details like that tend to go over childrend's heads), but I was never much of a fan of "on the fly" re-writing of history like that. Had I known/noticed at the time, it would have bothered me.

    That said, when I watch any of the original trilogy, I usually watch the "despecialized" verisons. They seem the best combination of retaining the original look and feel while benefiting from modern restoration technology. I kind of feel like the x16 computer is similar in this way! Nice job and thank you!

    I really like this analogy. Although I tend to lean to the 4k77/80/83 editions, I also really enjoy the expansion of the franchise, not disimilar to the way the x16 has been designed with extensibility in mind.
